Many thanks to Barbara and John Spooner for allowing us to run a tombola and plant sales at their recent Open Garden. 
The garden looked lovely and attracted many visitors from both within and outside the village. 
175 people visited the garden and entry donations and sale of Barbara's delicious cakes 
raised almost £800.
They donated £60 to Page Woods and £745 to the National Garden Scheme charities. 
John and Barbara are extremely generous (they have already donated generously to the Page Woods Appeal) and the ingredients for those scrumptious cakes do not come without cost.
In total the Residents Association collected £125 from out stalls and a further £65 in donations.
Thank you so much to everyone, particularly John and Barbara, for their generosity.
