Going around with the petition is not just getting signatures but also raising awareness of what Nottingham Council is intending to build between Bowers Gifford and Pitsea. I'm currently dropping the leaflets, which Carole and Gerry kindly donated, around Tyefields. So many people there know nothing about the proposed development on Little Chalvedon Hall Farm. Recent coverage in the Recorder has provided a little bit of awareness but most people are shocked by the size and location of the development. Currently we have 4750 names on the paper petition and 600 on the e-petition - that's a massive total of 5350. However, so many more people would sign the petition or, better still, write letters of objection if they knew about the proposed development. If you live in Pitsea and can take a copy of the petition to get more signatures then please contact me chair@bowersgifford.info or phone 0780 804 1825
