There is a lack of strong legal protection for hedgerows. Is anyone doing anything to document our hedgerows and get protection orders on them?

Measure the hedge in yards and then count the number of plants. if you average 3 plants per yard then it's worth protecting. If you avrage 7 plants per yard then it is most likely more than 500 years old.
