The Inquiry date, when a Planning Inspector from Bristol, will hear Nottingham/Meridian's Appeal against Basildon Council's decision not to build on Little Chalvedon Hall Farm will be 25th February. The Inquiry is likely to last 2 weeks and both sides (Nottigham/Meridian v Basildon) will be represented by a barrister. I have been asked to attend on the morning of 25th February and to supply the list of venues which the Residents Association request the Inspector to visit. We will also supply reasons for those requests. The Residents Association has been advised that it would be better for one spokesperson to represent it. So if there is anything that you think should be said that wasn't mentioned at the Development Control & Traffic Management Meeting then please let me know. We will discuss the list of venues, and representation, at the Inquiry at our next public meeting on 5th February, 7.30 at the Benbow. In the meantime please email any venues you think that it would be appropriate for the Inspector to visit to chair@bowersgifford.info Please note that a representative from the Residents Association will attend the Inquiry each day.
